ANTI RUST – (RED/GREY)

Description Alkyd based solvent-borne, synthetic rust inhibiting primer. PROPERTIES: Resistant to humidity, and sea water. It adheres to surface well and dries quickly. APPLICATION AREA: Used as a rust inhibiting primer for all kinds of exterior and interior metal surfaces. APPLICATION METHOD: Dirt, grease, oil, rust, old loose or flaking materials must be removed. Sandblasting and steel brush are recommended. Stir well before use. It can be applied by brush, roller and airless spray gun. If necessary, dilute with Dyo Synthetic Thinner (811-). 2 coats are applied with 8 hours break between coats. DRYING TIME (25oC): Tack free: 15 min., dust-free: 4 hours, hard-dry: 8 hours. SPREADING RATE: 14-18 m²/L, 11-15 m2/kg area is covered dependent on the substrate for single coat. STORAGE: It has a shelf life of 5 years if stored unopened in cool frost – free conditions.
