Provides better aerodynamic performance by reducing the need for brake cooling air ducts on vehicles.MOTUL RBF 660 FACTORY LINE has a very high wet boiling point (205°C / 401°F) exceeding the requirements of the standards DOT 5.1 non-silicone base (180°C minimum / 356°F minimum) and DOT 4 (155°C minimum / 311°F minimum) and therefore allows for effective braking in wet conditions. Indeed, DOT 3, DOT 4 or DOT 5.1 brake fluids have the property of absorbing moisture from the air, which lowers their boiling points and increases the risk of the “vapor lock” phenomenon.Recommendation:Change interval: Always according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and tailored to your application.
